Common Gemini Problems

Issues fall into three buckets: account issues, regional restrictions, or browser/app problems.

Fix 1: Sign Out and Back In

Go to gemini.google.com → click your profile → Sign out → Sign back in. A corrupted OAuth session is the most common cause.

Fix 2: Check Regional Availability

Gemini is not available in all countries. If in a restricted region, a VPN pointed to the US or EU may help.

Fix 3: Check Workspace Admin Restrictions

If you use a Google Workspace account, your admin may have disabled Gemini. Test with a personal Gmail account.
